School started and we were bored. The band idea was starting to seem like something I start out all enthuiastic with but then eventually can't be arsed to put any work into, rather like this very website. We decided to ask our good friend Liam on board. We liked him, he played guitar and he listened to good music. With this lineup we had our first practice session. The neighbours complained about 15 minutes in. Cool. We played bad versions of Smells Like Teen Spirit and Song2 with no vocals or guitar solos, but it was fun and I felt all self important and 'hip' so I wanted very much to carry on. |
