Scimitar
The Story So Far
We had a couple of practice sessions which were really cool but we had no bass and no vocals. We liked playing together but without those we weren't going to dominate the world, and that, as you'll all agree is our destiny. The search started.
It didn't take very long. We like Ben and he liked decent music and claimed to sing. When we found out his Dad owned a Fender Jazz, Tom and Liam started drooling and that was it. We asked him aboard and he, seeing the fact that we were the best band in the history of time (apart from Tool), accepted.
We finally had a practice session with a bass, but alas, Liam could not be there. After that we vowed never to practice without a member again. That didn't last long as we have been secretly playing techno under a new name without Tom at townie discos. Now we have had about 5 sessions with all of us there and we are starting to kick small amounts of ass. Gigs in the first half of 2002 I reckon.
The crew, aport from photographer me, finally together. And jumping much like last time.
