As a child in Dodge City, Kansas, Big Hoss noticed that there was nothing there for him. Nothing that could satisfy his drive to prove himself to the world. He always thought that he'd never have his chance in the spotlight, his 15 minutes of fame. That was, until he saw his first wrestling match. That's when he realized that this was his calling. He searched and searched and searched some more for some way, any way to get into the business. But, unfortunately, he always came up empty handed. And just as he was beginning to lose hope, he was discovered. Sonny Myers gave him that chance that he had been waiting for his whole life. And, in the end, he took All Star Wrestling by storm by winning the Heavyweight Championship belt from Dynamite Derrick Stone and is the glue that holds together ASW's most feared and dominant group in their history, The Round-Up.
