Wednesday, June 11, 2003: Completed questionnairs from 203 teens aged 13-14 from India who viewed TEEN SMOKERS SPEAK OUT have been received and these youth understand that they can listen to the stories of the American teens who have made the mistake of starting to smoke and learn from them and thus the Indian youth do not have to start smoking. Additionally, 201 of the 203 questionnairs indicated that they thought their friends would like to see this video. Tuesday, April 29, 2003: Prevention Video Corporation volunteer Doris Bozarth has conceived the idea that the "buddy system" should be used to keep youth and adults connected on smoking prevention. It is conceived that organizations might assign an adult to be a buddy with each youth and assist the youth in any way they can to let the youth initiate a movement of preventing youth cigarette smoking initiations. Thursday, April 10, 2003: An article written by Tom Petty, MD and Ron Peterson has been accepted for publication in, "Second Wind"-apublication for pulmonary patients written by Mary Burns, RN.
