Explanation of the Rewards Program

Prevention Video Corporation believes that youth should be rewarded for not smoking cigarettes and has created a "Rewards Program" to do so.

It is simple to understand and participate in.

Here is how it works

We have created a "Statement of non-smoking" form that youth may download from this site.

After a youth has downloaded the form, they may sign it in front of a parent or guardian (who also must sign the form) for rewards.

This form is available for downloading in section 2 of the rewards program section of this site.

We will then send a free "ID tag" to any youth who completes the form and sends it to us.

The ID tag identifies the youth as a non smoker.

The ID tag may be worn as a necklace, braclet, on a chain to a book bag or any other way youth choose to indicate to others that they do not smoke cigarettes.

Detailed instructions on how to request your ID tag are given in section 3 the rewards program section of this site.

We have also identified retailers who will honor the completed form and give some kind of a reward to youth who bring in the form.

Additional retailers will be added to this list as they accept the challenge to participate in this program.

The locations of the retailers and the rewards they offer are identified in section 4 the rewards section of this site.

Although this list is short today (3.29.2003) as this text is being created, additional participating merchants will be added as they become available.

We anticipate restaurants, theatres and amusument parks will be added to the list soon.
