Hi! It's Me Romulus a Co-Captain for my School's Quidditch Team ! Welcome to the Quidditch Field!!!

Yes it's true there is now going to be a Muggle Quidditch League!! At My Middle school! Me and my friend Kathryne have come up with the rules and regs for the game and are still working out the details but our first real game will be a bit after holiday vacation this winter. But we will do our first practice game (to test out the rules) pretty soon so once we do that I'll let you know how it went..

Since the people that are coming here normally don't have broom sticks..... There is a site that tells you how to play muggle quidditch Not to mention we also tell you all about regualr quidditch And now here are the rules for regular  QUIDDITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stadium:
There are 3 goal posts on either side of the field, the goals are round and hover 50 ft. up in the air. And there are raised bleachers for spectators.

Balls and Equipment:
1 Quaffle- a quaffle is a soccer sized ball, that is bright red and used to score goals.
2 Bludgers- bludgers are pitch black, a bit smaller than quaffles and are used to knock players (from both sides) off their brooms and can cause injury
1 Snitch- A Snitch is a baseball sized ball with silver wings that is very fast and very elusive
Broom sticks- each player buys their own broom stick to ride during the game. The best broom stick out is a firebolt.

Team Players:
1 Keeper- Guards the goals to keep the enemy from scoring
2 Beaters- are defense and offense, they use bats to hit the bludgers at the enemy end keep them from hitting their own team
3 Chasers- the chasers are the ones that score goals they throw the quaffle back and forth trying to score as many many many                  many goals as possible before the game ends
1 Seeker- The seeker is the only player that can end the game and he/she does that by catching the snitch.

The Object of the Game:
The object is to score as many goals with the quaffle as possible and then catching the snitch, all the while flying around on broom sticks 50 ft. off the ground and dodging the speeding bludgers that can cause injury to you or knock ya right off your broom which would result in the removal from the game.

The Start of the Game:
First the referee tells the captains to shake hands, Then everyone mounts their broom. And the referee lets all 4 balls loose.
When he does that he sounds a whistle and everyone rises up into the air as fast as possible, and play begins.

Penalties:
I am sorry that i could not list them but there are too many ways to commit fouls in quidditch to write down:
700 to be exact. Fouls can result in the fouled team get them quaffle and get to take a free shot at one of the opposing nets.

Scoring and Winning:
For every time that a chaser gets the quaffle  into the opposing teams goal the team that scored is awarded 10 points. But the game will not end end until The Seeker catches the snitch.
