Hello! My name is Roma. I grew up in a Communist family in the Soviet Union. My both parents were convinced atheists... and so was I. In school I was taught that the Earth had been formed as the result of a "big bang" and that life gradually evolved from simpliest forms to most complex ones. And I sincerely believed in it.

The idea of God seemed so unreal to me that I did not even consider it as a serious possibility. I believed that the most important thing in life was to get a good education. Good educatation meant good job, good job meant money... and there was no doubt as to what money meant.

And so I studied hard. I wanted to go to a good college. To be addmitted I had to pass several tests. And then it happened. My dream became a reality. I was enrolled in one of the most prestigious colleges in Moscow!

But my euphoric state soon faded away after I encountered the daily routine of university studies. I realized that college life was not much different from my old school days. It was the same me. I had more free time now, for most of my high-school time had been consumed by pre-university studies. So, I decided to catch up on the things I had missed in high-school. I started going to parties, discos, and doing other this sort of things.
