Blackadder Back and Forth featured Lord Edmund Blackadder and his manservant Baldrick travelling through time in a machine built by Baldrick. Based on designs by Leonardo Da Vinci, the machine was built as a joke in order for Blackadder to con vast amounts of cash out of his friends. It works however, taking Blackadder to various places throughout history including the Dinosaurs, meeting Robin Hood, the court of Elizabeth I and the Battle of Waterloo. However, Blackadder returns to his own time to find that he has altered history, so has to go back again to put things right, at which point he has a very very very cunning plan.
