About the maker of these pages.

Maybe I should warn you first. This page isn't the most interesting page on this site.
It might even be boring,... whatever, here we go.

The maker of this page real name is Jeroen Rood. He was born years ago in a small city (now 37.000 people)
in a small country called the Netherlands. (Of course knows everyone of you where the Netherlands are, don't you?)
Alright, for the less intelligent people out there, the Netherlands is a small country in Europe.
It got about 15 million inhabitants, and is one of worlds most crowded countries.
The Netherlands are surrounded by Germany and Belgium (and a lot of sea).

In his spare time (and that is not so much anymore) he read books, listen music and works a
lot with his computer. The last thing means about everything (software and hardware).
The books he read are most thrillers,but sometimes also fantasy, horror books and Garfield strips (Yeah!). The games he (sometimes) plays are some Racing games (NFS) and strategy games (Power, The game).

>What for computer does he have?
At this moment he's got an Abit BE-II mainboard with a Pentium 3 550MHz.
The monitor is a 17" Goldstar Studioworks 78i. further there are: a 56k Dynalink modem, a Diamond Stealth III (S3 Savage4 pro+, 32MB), 128MB internal memory, a processor cooler, three harddisks (a 10 GB and a 5.1 GB Quantum harddisk, and an 4.3GB UW SCSI Seagate harddisk), a soundblaster Live! VE, a Harman/Kardon amplifier, a Technics tape deck, Scandyna speakers, a 32 speed Plextor SCSI CD-ROM player, a Plextor PX-R412C CD-burner, combined with a Diamond Fireport 40 SCSI host adapter, a HP 4p SCSI Scanner, a HP DeskJet 840, a logitech mouse, a Garfield mousepad :-), a microsoft natural keyboard, a gamepad, a joystick, and a Mitsumi diskdrive.

>Tell me what he has learned in al those years.
After he finished his primary school he started at the age of 12 with his secondary school.
For him was it the HAVO (Hoger Algemeen Voortgezet Onderwijs). This is number 5 in a
ranking from 1 to 6 (1 is low, 6 is high). After he could drop some foreign languages everything
went perfect. The subject he undergo an exam were Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (B), Dutch,
English and Biology.
After that he spend 4 Years on a M.T.S. (Middelbare Technische School), a technical school
This school is located in Santpoort a village 10km. away from Beverwijk. The name of
the school is IJmond M.T.S., and is a part of a larger organisation called NOVA-college.
On the M.T.S. he finished his exams 'Electronics' and 'Computer Technique' with good results.
Nowadays he works at a Electronics repair shop in Heemskerk, called : Peters Service

>What kind of other exams did he pass?
He's got 2 MTS diplomas (computer technique and electronics)
He's got a HAVO diploma
He's got his driver licence since 6 January 1997.
He's got 2 swim diplomas.
He's got an injection diploma (He is a diabetic, you know)
He's a Microsoft Certified Professional, he passed Implementing and supporting Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0
And he's a certified Linux system administrator.

>What kind of music does he like
He likes Rock, Pop, alternative and sometimes hard rock (grunge and mostly ballads).
The bands he likes are : U2, Roxette, Pink Floyd, Vangelis, J.M.Jarre, Clannad, Live, Björk, K's choice, Lamb, and Apocalyptica, and lots more.
