The Hayabusa is so powerful and accelerates so hard that it made my ZX11 feel almost slow in comparison. There REALLY is a function of that rear hump. It stops the rider's butt from sliding completely off the seat when he/she goes to wide open throttle! In addition to the unbelievable power is the bike's excellent chassis. It's stiff frame and top notch suspension give the bike handling capabilities that belies its weight and size. All the moto-magazines agree that the Hayabusa is the best bike in this class of two.
Below is a pic of my Hayabusa before any modifications. Hardly anything needed to change!

Right: My 2000 Suzuki GSXR1300R Hayabusa. The bike was fitted with Yoshimura RS-3 stainless steel slip-on and powder coated wheels. The Hayabusa is the fastest production bike on the planet. In 1999, an undrestricted bike went 194 mph. Today's bikes are restricted to 186 mph.
