Ohio Enemies
The Department of Job and Family Services operates the Office of Child Support.
According to ACES, this state collected $10 million in child support money from noncustodial parents that should have been distributed to the custodial parents, but the custodial parents have yet to see it.
Why does that not surprise me? If you are going to violate the Constitution and the Antipeonage Act, why not do it for fun and profit?!
As the Pretenders sing: Way to go! Oh, Hi, Oh! Honesty and Constitutional rights were gone, by a government that had no pride.
Article I Section 1 of the Ohio Constitution declares the inalienable rights of all men, including the right to acquire, possess, and protect property.
Article I Section 4 of the Ohio Constitution declares the right of the people to bear arms for their defense and security.
Article I Section 6 of the Ohio Constitution prohibits slavery and involuntary servitude.
Article I Section 9 of the Ohio Constitution prohibits excessive fines and bails and cruel and unusual punishments.
Article I Section 15 of the Ohio Constitution prohibits imprisonment for debt except in cases of fraud. I guess child support is a fraud.
