Connecticut Enemies
This state once had a naval vessel named the Oliver Cromwell. They believed that since they were fighting a revolution against the English King, they would name their warship after another fellow who fought a revolution against an English King. But they have obviously forgotten that the cause of the American Revolution was the American reaction to being treated like shit by the English King and by the English Parliament.
The Child Support Enforcement Program operated by the Department of Social Services engages in attainder and outlawry actions against divorced parents with even more vim and vigor than the English Parliament did in enforcing its bill of attainder against the Earl of Clarendon. At least the English Parliament left the Earl alone as long as he remained in France. Connecticut might go after you unless you went to some place like Iran or North Korea. Now THAT would be a terrible exile!!
