Your professor may not have crossed any legal lines at this point, but he is making your life unlivable and very uncomfortable while in class.

You paid for this time, thus you are owed what you paid for, and you certainly are not getting all that you've paid for.

The SFSU administrators should be very concerned about this. A law suit is time consuming and may pay off, but it won't solve the problems you face at this point.

A protest in front of the school with signs could put the right amount of pressure on the administration so that they will deal with this very bad professor.

No matter what you feel, do not stop until you are satisfied that the situation has been properly addressed.

Contact the local commie media and see if they are interested in the story. A profile on TV could place great pressure on the staff to solve this problem.

Just remember, you are the customer and you've paid upfront for a service that you are now owed. IF the school does not make some sort of restitution, keep the pressure on until they do.

#2. The other people in that class signed up for the course knowing that's what she is, and liking it.

#3. The university hired her knowing what she was and agrees with her view.

#4. She is a member of a legally favored group. The law will favor her.

You are morally correct, but you don't have many friends and you are probably SOL.

If you expect to graduate from that school, you will need to keep your views to yourself. The other thing I would suggest is a few martial arts lessons so if that guy approaches you again you can make him an offer he can't refuse, preferably in a corner when nobody is looking or listening.

What the H&## are you doing taking a class like that? You must be either terminally naive or terminally stupid.

If you're talking about suing, and don't already have a lawyer, you're also just blowing smoke trying to make yourself feel important. If your facts are accurate (more or less), you have no real case, and the Unicops and the San Francisco PD both have much better things to do than get in the middle of an adolescent dispute, like helping little old faggots cross the street. Things like this used to be, and probably still should be, settled bare knuckles out behind the gym after school, may the best man/person win.

Get a life and go to some appropriate junior college!

You've got a pretty flimsy case. Just what is it you're suing for? Damages? What damage have you received? And don't try to work a "mental anguish" angle; no court will buy it.

On the other hand, you might have grounds for an ethics charge against this so-called professor. To what canon -- if any -- does this regrettable institution of "learning" subscribe? Are they accredited anywhere? Is this "teacher" a member of any professional organization? Does she have to be certified to teach? These types of academic oppression are common in the fertile crescent of bolshevism that academia have become. But you don't have to tolerate this.

Another suggestion might be to contact activist David Horowitz at the Center for the Study of Popular Culture. He has spent several years documenting abuses of academic freedom, and his staff is utterly vitriolic in their condemnations of these practices.

In any event, good luck. Stand your ground. You're a soldier on the New Battlefield.

If someone threatened you with physical violence, that's a crime. Make a complaint with the local prosecutor.

As far as the lawsuit goes, where are your damages? Do you want to spend $30,000. suing only to find the jury awards you $1. for hurt feelings?

I am no legal expert, take my advice with a grain of salt. I am sure this fellow would deny ever making such a statement. There are two ear witnesses, but I would not rely on these two women to tell the truth on the witness stand.

If the campus police officer was not interested enough to take your complaint seriously, then he is complicit in his inaction. That should tell you something. Could you trust him to tell the truth on the witness stand, either?

The thing is universities are supposed to have arbitration services to resolve conflicts between students and faculty. I know you want to sue, but it doesn't sound like you have any friendly witnesses. If the people involved are as cynical as you suggest, I would not put perjury past them, either.

If you can't trust them in a school-arbitrated meeting, how much can you expect in a court of law? Consider transferring to another school.

Next time you are in a class where the professor talks about the "evil white men of the world", mention that you can actually name two of these "evil white men" -- Karl Marx, and N. Lenin.

It puts them in a position to explain why these white men are not evil (which to these people, they are not evil), thereby you've accomplished in front of the entire class your goal -- you've smoked the professor out as nothing but a Marxist/communist plant, not interested at all in "women's studies", "black studies" or "whatever oppressed group" studies.

I've had a similar experience, with a homosexual liberal instructor at a local college. He was making negative comments about the Bible, and one of our texts was "The Good Book" by Peter Gomes, who is a homosexual "Christian". When I confronted his supervisor about the derogatory comments about the Bible (he said that if the story of God destroying His creation in the Noah's Ark account, "doesn't disturb you, you haven't thought about it enough.") I would write papers deliberately attacking his beliefs on evolution, and boy did he get steamed. - Oh, back to the supervisor, well, he wasn't taking to my concerns, and it ended in a shouting match, and he told me to get out of his office, etc. Colleges are nothing but liberal indoctrination centers, and are extremely frustrating. Hope to go to a good Conservative Christian college after I finish here. DEATH TO MARXISM!!!!

Hi, this is Roger. The title of the course was Women, Class, and Race. Ethnic Studies 571. In order to meet the requirements of entering the teacher credential program, the modern liberals have dictated that a student must choose an ethnic studies course. Mainly I listened to people talk about the unique hair concerns of black women, how white people have everything handed to them, and how the women of color went to school with mostly white kids, yet somehow they were still screwed by the system. It is over, thank God. I survived it - paid my dues and came out disliking liberal women even more.

I disagree, the left must be destroyed, and the only way to do that is use their own tactics against them, they have been proven to be effective. Although personally I would slugged the guy who threatened me in the mouth, and would have constantly went off on the other students and the teacher using their own terms against them (racist, bigot, act.) I did this in a sociology class and it worked well.

Why is a "conservative" in that class? In SFSU?

Some of the most enthusiastically red/green professors I've had were the best classes I took. Not only did I understand and master their curriculum, I ran circles around it, poked holes in their methodology, looked for underlying propaganda themes and techniques employed. This is the last time this will be a student/instructor atmosphere with their kind, next time is the real deal, with implications beyond GPA. Standing up for your values isn't a victory, it is a maintenance of the status quo. Only be returning volleys attacking the instructors methodology or underlying ideology without framing the debate in "your" belief system can you enjoy a pleasant class environment with a minimum flare up of that ugly Red fever.

By the way, grow a set, you should have dealt with the situation immediately. In terms of all of your "anguish", which moment was most distressing? The moment you felt threatened, correct? That is where you went wrong.

One of my professors (at SFSU) embarrassed me in front of my class one day (absolutely true, I swear on my Bible) and what did I do? I quit the school. You want to make others hear your poor little miserable sob story. That makes me really mad. Again, conservatives need this crap like another Bush. I'll ask you again. Why did you enroll in SFSU? You HAD to know it is as liberal as it gets. Try Chico state, or SDSU. Maybe you don't want to move. crybaby.

I endured a similar, if less extreme, situation when I was in university. I suggest the following - develop a sense of humor, deploy it often, and it will spike their guns.

I once took the steam out of a feminist ranting on about male patriarchy by making my political point, and then saying with a grin - "It's hard for me to believe there is an overwhelming patriarchy, given how my mother and sister basically run everything in my family anyway." The acid delivery got a few laughs - even from the professor, and at my graduation, that female professor actually kissed me goodbye. Given that she was a lesbian, I suppose I was the first man she'd kissed since the Paleolithic era.

But be cheerful, be dignified, don't retreat, and learn some comic timing. Believe me, you'll get a lot of sympathy, even allies, if you develop your sense of humor. People will open their ears if they think that your words are going to give them a little kick of laughter as well as information.

It may even get a lesbian to kiss you goodbye when you graduate. If you want such a thing, mind you.

I, who have fought my liberal professors regularly, or you, the person who sounds like a modern liberal i.e. calling me a brat and using class warfare. Shove it. I had no idea San Francisco State, was a socialist haven. Hell, I had no idea this city was red until after I lived here for a while and started reading the newspaper.

For the person who wondered when I felt the most anguish, it was when the police told me they wanted to drop the case without questioning anyone from the class. They are a good example of what our country may/will be when more masses of third world types come here and destroy our culture. Bye.

Find a Filipino Martial Arts (kali, escrima, arnis) instructor and train real hard. This way of fighting has the quickest learning curve because it has no mystical components. Why block when you can hit? Why hit once when you can hit twice?

In case you haven't learned this yet, let me tell you a bit about reality. Most professors don't give a rat's patoot about "the truth". You are there to listen, take notes, read the books, and then regurgitate what the professor wants in your quizzes, tests and papers.

Ignore this rule and you'll be crying the blues all the time. You'll likely flunk out.

Trying to teach a pig to sing doesn't work. It annoys the pig and wastes your time.
