Tennessee’s Inspiration Tennessee was forced to take some odd jobs here and there in order to support his writing habit. These Odd jobs led him to the place that he considered home. New Orleans. It was in New Orleans that the writer truly discovered himself and was able to escape the bindings his upbringing had placed upon him. In New Orleans he began living an openly homosexual lifestyle and was inspired to work. All of his Days Williams was a sort of Nomad with only two homes to speak of.
