Re-vamping and re-packaging of styles and genres of music well proven to make a profit encourages aspiring artists to follow suit in order to gain any sort of noteriety
In mapping out the general structure of the Dallas/FTW music scene, I have run into a vast concensus in the opinion of both bands and venues

Fortunately, there are those who believe that the right amount of quality combined with an agressive attitude of promotion and performance can attract even those who don't know any better
These artists are determined to infiltrate the current structure to establish some sort of variety in a field dominated by lack of choices
