Various cymbal stands and mounting hardware that I can Frankenstein out of all of my spare parts
STICKS AND HEADS
Vater Fatback 3A's (nylon and wood tip)-
I like them because of their thick neck taper and short length
I often hold them backwards in my snare hand (right) and occasionally in the left.
Regal Tip Quantum 1000 Nylon tip-
This is a very light marching stick with no taper and a marble shaped nylon tip.
I use this stick to bring out the definition of my ride during the "meathead"songs.
The resulting attack produces a very piercing ride tone

I am currently experimenting with different brands of drumheads
Toms and snares have a heavy duty clear one ply (one coated on the wood snare)
The bass drum has a heavy duty clear one ply with a sound control ring
Resonant heads are clear and light duty
I tune fairly high and try to use larger sizes to create depth at high tensions in an effort to emulate different sizes of Tympani drums.
NO MUFFLING ON ANYTHING!
NOT EVEN THE BASS DRUM!
