Ditchwater played together at the "Forgot: The Sequel to Forget." We opened for SOLACE, a bad ass band out of Mexico. It was a festival a little ways outside of Mexico, MO in a perfect location. We arrived about 4:00 P.M. and started getting ready. Solace set up first and soundchecked then we did the same. We took a small hiatus from the festivities and then returned about 8:20 P.M. That is when the nerves really started to get goin'. As soon as we returned our singer, Hopkins, informed us we were to soundcheck one more time and then play. We ended up holding out till 9:00 P.M. though and we DID play 1 full hour! After we left stage Solace stepped up and played a very awesome show. The festivities were by no means over but our night had to end so that is all I can report. It was a very nice evening for all. We would like to thank John Got for inviting us to one hell of a show! Hope to see you next year!

We started as only a three piece, which gave some of the songs a free for all jam feel.We are now a four piece leaning a little toward the heavier electric songs, but we have still mantained the free for all jam feel. " WE ARE THE FIRST STONER METAL JAM BAND!!!!" We have started doing shows again so inquire through e-mail if interested in booking us for shows or for a "BAREBONES BOOTLEG" demo pack. |
