| Rocking Horse Ranch is a not-for-profit organization founded by Eileen Van
Houten in 1991 which provides therapeutic and sports riding to
children and adults with a variety of physical, psychological, and cognitive disabilities. The ultimate goal of the program is to improve each
rider's functional abilities so that they become more independent, productive and
active members of the community. We are a member organization of the North American

| A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available at Rocking Horse Ranch.. These include sidewalking with riders during lessons, helping with barn chores and property maintenance, or assisting with fund raising and publicity. Volunteers with substantial horse experience can also assist by leading horses during lessons, or by grooming or schooling horses. |
