This is Johnny at the tender young age of 9 and 1/2 months. He took a five point major that day. His half sister ( CH. Hines' Chivas Regal Jesse ) went Best Of Breed the same day. We cropped his ears about 1 month later as we thought leaving them natural would have slowed him down in the show ring. Many people think this was cruel and unnecessary, but my experience has shown that cropping an older dog is less traumatic than a puppy as puppies tend to mess with the ears more than an adult.

This was the same weekend as the previous picture. It was a banner weekend for Rockin' M. Friday we took Best of Winners for 2 points, Saturday we took Best of Breed from the classes over 2 Champions, and Sunday we took Best of Winners for the three point major that Johnny needed to finish his title.
