IMP CAES GORDIANVS PIVS AVG - Imp[erator] Caes[ar] Gordianus Pius Aug[ustus]

PIVS is added to the legend showing the 'piety' of Gordian.  This addition is believed to be related to Gordian III's predessors, Gordian I and II and that the assuming of the title might have fallen on the anniversary of their accession.
