Bon Jovi hit the stage at 8.30 pm sharp to rapturous applause!  I was so exighted as this was my first European show this tour. When they started Keep the faith, I said to my pal, this better be a long version and I wasn't disappointed! It was fantastic. Jon improvised a bit then looked at Hugh and gave him the signal to start the base intro for Sympathy! Ok I thought, this is gonna be great!!
- Then Jon looked up to the sky and said some improv stuff, and then did the BOOMS!
Tico's drums weren't as loud during the middle part as they have been on the last tour, but it was still a great version! - Richie wrang out his guitar during the last part and was doing his f**k faces to full effect!
After It's my Life, I could see Jon mouth something to Hugh then Dave, then Tico, then Richie. I wondered what song he was calling, but was a little disappointed when it turned out to be Bed of roses!
I would have much preferred Always, but I'm not complaining!
Next up was a brilliant version of The Distance. the ending seemed to go on for a long time, which was very cool!  I really liked the accapela part Jon does at the end too!
Next up was Runaway. Jon started the song, "On the streets where you live girls talk about their social life"... then he stopped! Put his head down and laughed to himself!!!lol He had forgotten the next line!!!!
Then he looked down at me, Julia and Shari and pointed at us and said something like "It's seeing you three down there, its all your fault! I haven't forgotten those lyrics before!! -We just cracked up at him! -
He then picked it up and finished the song. This song is 20 years old but still sounds fresh and boy, does it rock!
There was a little break and Jon came back to stage centre with his acoustic guitar and stood there for a while, just taking it all in. he commented on the show there in 2001 and how great it was then and how it rained a lot! -(Yes, we got soaked!) - He said something like this show would be just as good or even better!! - He then said something like, ok I'm throwing out the set, I feel like I've lost my mind tonight! What shall we play??!!!
A few of us shouted out These Days, but then he started to play Diamond Ring!!
Well, we all went crazy! By now, we just knew that this was gonna be a very special show!
I looked around at Marit and Oleg from Israel who were behind us and I saw huge smiles on their faces.
This was their last show this tour and I was very pleased for them that this show was gonna be a great one!!
After Diamond Ring, Jon looked to Hugh and Dave and mouthed what I thought was Heroes!! I had hoped
they would do this one as it is just awesome! - The intro started and I said "YES" rather loudly! -
Next up was Saturday Night. Another great long version! Jon drew out the middle part and was going off on
one of his rants!! It wasn't as long as the rant from the 2001 Munich show but was great all the same!
They also dragged out the end part too, and when Jon said "Lets Drive", Tico thought that he meant to end
the song, coz it usually does mean that, but Jon didn't mean that this time! - So, they picked it up again and carried on! It was probably the longest ending  of this song I have heard. My friends and I started clapping from side to side and then everyone started doing it! The band seemed to like this and Jon, Hugh and Richie did
the swaying with the guitar thing as well!!
Next up was a great version of Just Older. I don't think they have been doing that one much, but we were glad it was back!
Next it was Richie's turn to shine! He did a brilliant version of I'll be there for you! - The crowd were loud while singing the wo oh oh's and Richie loved it! he stood centre stage preening like a peacock and generally taking it all in and loving it! bless him!
A litle break, then Jon walked back on stage and the intro to Something to Believe in started!!!
The whole place just erupted!! - I love the sound of Richie's guitar in this song, it's much higher pitched than the album version and just sends tingles down my spine. - Jon looked down at the lyrics and then stopped. He said something like "It's too small, I can't read it! then laughed that oh so cute laugh!!!
Anyhow, he soon remembered them and it was a really great version. The crowd were very loud too during the Hey hey heys!  At the end of the song, Jon turned his back on us and continued the hey hey heys with
us saying them back to him, it seemed to go on forever and as usual, we would have sang it back to him all night!
Next up was the brilliant Undivided! The lazer lights during this one just blow you away!! they are so cool!
In fact the whole stage and lights are truly incredible!
The crowd were singing the ending of the song very loudly and Jon stopped and let us finish it off!
Born to be my baby followed, another great song, then Sleep when I'm dead, which morphed into Rocking all over the world. That one really got the crowd going again, everyone was going crazy by now. - Jon was having so much fun that he motioned to one of the girls in the stage right pit to dance with him! - She happily obliged!
He then kissed her and sent her back.
They ended the song, then Jon realised they were supposed to finish Sleep when I'm dead! So he then said something like "Oh no, we didn't finish Sleep"!! He then , motioned to Tico to pick it up again and they finished Sleep! Jon kept saying how out of of his mind he was tonight and it must be because of the full moon, then howled at the moon! - He did the usual "You ain't getting tired on me now are you? coz I ain't going nowhere tonight baby"!! A really rocking version of Raise your hands ended the first set!
It was now approx. 11.15 PM!!
A short break then they came back with a great version of Misunderstood!  this one is good live and the I'i'i'i'i'i's were sung loudly by the crowd.  I can't remember at which point this was, but Jon looked around him at the lights and said something like "Nice light job, good work Pat"!! (Pat is the lighting director)
Next was Capt. crash. Then Jon says again "I'm out of my mind tonight, You ain't got nowhere to go right?? good, IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE???!!!!  Bad Medicine came next and the crowd went crazy again!
Richie was doing his actions and interacting with a bunch of fans over his side, you could tell that he was really enjoying himself tonight!!  All through the show I would look around at the other fans and everyone
had these huge smiles and grins on their faces, it was just awesome to see everyone so ecstatically happy!!
At the end of the song, Jon looks out to the crowd and holds his hand to his ear and shakes his head and says "What?" I can't hear you"?  - The crowd were still going crazy. He then says "Ok, one more time, one more time" Tico????? - Tico then starts the intro again and they play the chorus one more time.
Then Jon drops to his knees and starts the intro for Shout! - Tico bangs his drums to Jon's arm flings.
Tico then stood up and was egging Jon on to do more! that was cool! - Jon did more arm flings tonight I noticed!
After Shout, we thought that must be it surely! it was coming up to nearly 3 hours!!!  But no, Jon's guitar tech came out and gave Jon his acoustic guitar. Ok, could it possibly be "These Days" next? I hoped, I had hoped right!! - They started the intro to These Days and the crowd erupted once more!
During "Jimmy shoes he busted both his legs, trying to learn to fly" part, Jon kinda stumbles and puts his arms out like he was trying to fly! - That was really cool as I had not seen him do that before!
He also did the actions during "Jumped and closed his eyes"! - It was a really great version. Jon even sang the ending very high, as it should be, he was straining so much, but he pulled it off brilliantly!!!!
Jon then introduced the band and said a little montage about each one, then said something like,
I can thank everyone, but I can't forget the most important people to thank, I can't go to my bed without thanking... YOU and YOU and YOU and YOU!  As he was saying the yous, he was pointing at people in the crowd!! I thought that was a really nice touch! Then they did the bow. The crowd were screaming and cheering
and the band were smiling so much! - They stood there for a while, and I really thought that was it. But then I realised that they were standing there longer than usual and Jon's face was saying that he did not want to go!!!
The crowd were screaming for more, as were we, and to our delight, Jon looks at the others and says, one more? - They all agree and go back to take their places!!!!!
Jon does another guitar change to the black and white electric one and I really didn't know what was coming next, as I didn't throughout the whole show! - It really seemed like it was 1995 again, the old days when the band were much more spontaneous and relaxed and it didn't matter if they messed up here and there or forget a lyric here and there, it was all about having a great time!
They ended the show with Twist and Shout! It really is a great song to end on, in my opinion. This time it really was over!!!!
The band walk off stage, Jon turns around with this huge smile and gives us a little wave!!! - then Richie did
the same!!! - (Do you think they were pleased to see us there prehaps?;)

This show was just perfect!! Absolutely perfect!! I wouldn't have missed it for the world!!
