PROJECT WILLYS
The Project Willys is our first project rock crawler. The jeep was perchased from a a private party in Garden Grove. The previous owner was going to restore it for his son but didn't get to finish it. (wife problem) So Josh and I bought it for 1000$. What we were looking for was a good frame and good body, which we got. the parts are all being swaped out and it's going to be transformed into a hard core rockcrawler.
The body was striped of the gauges and other parts, then sanded and primed to get ready for paint. we then painted the tub in olive drab. after seeing all the flatfenders being painted the same color we  decided to go to a different color when everything else is done.
The hood, grille, and windsheild frame were all sanded , and painted. But again this will be re-done due to excessive use of olive drab.
Next was the doner vehicle. A 1976 Chevy K5 blazer which we built for josh's brother Jorden. He shortly after relized he wanted a small truck with good gas milage. So we striped the 14 bolt rear axle, 12 bolt front axle, new turbo 350 trans, np205 transfercase, 350 motor , drivelines and new 35'' super swamper ssr's
(which are currently on joshs rig) then junked the body and frame.
