The Star-Spangled Banner does still wave,
With red, white, and blue the streets will be paved.
Parades, barbecues, fireworks, and games,
If it doesn't catch on, we're not to blame.
We're starting a new decade after winning the last,
It seems that the years really go by fast.
We'll take lots of pictures, complaints aren't allowed,
The rest of the year we will be so proud.
