| July 31st, 2004 Rockapella becomes Rockap'la www.ElliottKerman.com Yesterday, We attended Elliott's final concert with Rockapella, and therefore what is considered to us to be Rockapella's final concert. After all, if you look at a picture of Rockapella when they started, and look at a picture of this new group, there are none of the same people. By default, it's a different group. Anyway, the last show was amazing and Elliott is amazing. Rockapella 1987 performed, which was a real treat featuring one Elliott solo number and several Elliott solos within other songs, and we got to hear four Elliott solos with the 2004 incarnation. Elliott, you know that creating this website was part of what brought the two of us together. Thank you so much for all your kind words and your beautiful voice and your stage presence, which can never, ever be equaled. 'Til the Elliott Kerman Quartet... |
