100 GRANDES CANCIONES EN LA HISTORIA DEL ROCK

En la víspera del nuevo milenio los radioescuchas de la hoy extinta estación mexicana "radio 590 AM La Pantera" votaron para elegir a las 100 mejores canciones en la historia del rock. 25,ooo llamadas telefónicas fueron las que ayudaron a conformar la presente lista. He aquí el único esfuerzo de esta naturaleza realizado en México hasta la fecha para elegir las canciones más populares y representativas en la historia del rock. Los resultados aún cuando nunca pueden considerarse como definitivos no dejan de ser interesantes. A diferencia de las encuestas realizadas en otros medios de comunicación y en otros países, aquí quedaron a un lado los pseudo-artistas y los ídolos de pacotilla prefabricados, que nada tienen que ver con el rock y que nada han aportado a este género musical.
