Well, Gang~
Guess what...the Bone Marrow biopsy came back Negative for Leukemia. That means that at this moment the Leukemia "appears" to have gone into to Remission HOWEVER, Rocio is still undergoing chemotherapy to be on the safe side. We want to make darn sure that the tests didn't miss something.
Also, she will still remain in the hospital for the next few weeks to rebuild her immune system due to its extremely volatile state.

Well, I bring you even more miraculous news today...(sorry I didn't finish the 3rd's entry but, I decided to spend the night with Rocio last night. She called me up and said, "It finally happened, my hair is coming out in clumps...sob..sob...") so, needless to say, I had to take off to the hospital and Well, you guessed it, our girl is now "hair challenged"!  She's is still absolutely GORGEOUS though..(ask Paul--he ddigs her)
Anyway, I got home this morning and just in time to receive the best phone call in a loonnnnng time...Rocio is now officially off of Neutropenic isolation which means...she's
finally able to hug her family and friends without worrying about germs. She's actually making baby red blood cells!!! We are soooo ecstatic. The doctors think she'll be home in a couple weeks.

Note from Paul: thanks for all the love, support, and prayers from all over the world! Our family and friends are the best! Everything happens for a reason, and our eyes are DEFINITLEY OPEN to what is important, and the three of us are anxiously awaitng her return home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, God's miracles never cease to amaze me...Today I was witness to another one. Rocio's blood count is miraculously "within normal limits!!" She's still producing baby red blood cells (which the cancer was previously preventing.) She is still in the hospital, full of life and CANCER FREE!!!! Not to mention as beautiful and vibrant as any woman would be, who has been touched by angels and Blessed by our Lord! Praise God!
As far as we know the doctors are going to finish this last round of chemo (to be safe) and we are actually anticipating her homecoming in less than 2 weeks. We made a vow to definitely hit the beach feel the sand in our toes and toast the sunset!
If anyone ever tells you that God doesnt exist, well you just send them our way because we'll prove it to them that not only does he exist but, he hears each and every prayer and Blesses those who are faithful.
If you want to know how to have faith in the midst of the worst thing you can possibly imagine...just ask my best friend Rocio  because not only does she have faith she is a shining example of how faith can SAVE YOUR LIFE!
The final countdown til Rocio's homecoming begins!
Love to all and please never stop praying. His is ever so faithful!!!
January 7th
Well, It looks like Rocio is making baby red blood cells and the drs. are taking her off the antibiotics tonight to check and see if she can handle it. If she can...we're shootin' for Weds. for her return HOME! Praise God!
January 8th
Well, talked to Rocio this morning  and we're definitely shooting for tomorrow!! All looks well. She said that she was taking all the pictures down and was so anxious to come home!
January 9th
Well...She's coming home TODAY YEahhhhhhhh!!! Doctor said she'll have to continue with outpatient injections for the next couple weeks and will probably come home with a portacath but, aside from that she is being released this afternoon!Thank you LORD, you are truly an awesome GOD.
Thanks everyone for your love and support. It certainly kept Rocio and her family going and I know it really helped me to know that we were all pulling togethr just like God intends us to do...to look to Him and lay our heavy burdens at His feet. God Bless you all
In Christ Jesus,
