<Suddenly, you hear a shout to your rear! No one really understands the shout, but it gets your attention!>
CPT Wolfe exclaims "What tha hell ?!?! Cutter, did you see anything?"
"Rattler 1, what was that noise? Over!"
He then turns to Cutter "I am going to take the prisoner to cover. No sense in getting him killed, yet."
CPT Wolfe then speaks to the prisoner,"If you can understand me, low crawl into the tree line. No sudden movements
'cause I gots a 5.56mm x-mas present for ya. I want you to take some cover just in case. And keep your hands on
the back of your head. Anyway, ya got a name?" If the prisoner doesn't understand English, I wave my rifle
at him to get moving.
CPT Wolfe then mutters to himself "I could use a cold Budweiser."

<SGM Stewart decides tie up his prisoner, now that he is coming to. As SGM Stewart pulls the boot laces of his
prisoner, the prisoner comes to! The prisoner shouts something, then attempts to get away...SGM Stewart easily
overtakes him and hogties and gags him.>
SGM Stewart drags his prisoner into a covered and concealed location, then waits for anyone to investigate the
ruckus.
Location: The village of Ladek Stary (15 km West of the Captured Duece)

<SFC Ikeman turns and starts to head for a building: "lets get out of the open sir.">
SFC Ikeman Walking to the nearest building to get out of the open, I wait for the Captain and Josef. Putting his
back to the building, SFC Ikeman squats down with his weapon across his knees, relaxing his ruck a little.
He looks up at CPT Lee and says "Sir, I haven't had friendly contact in weeks, I was able to pick up what
happened over the net, but your the first American I've seen. Is there any of 5th Div left? And any clue where
we are reqrouping at?"
CPT Lee and Josef follow SFC Ikeman, when they arrive, Lee motions to Josef, "Get Ikeman a beer or something.
He's been on the road for the last two weeks."
Lee then points to the building where he is staying. "You can sleep in there. I've only been here a few nights
myself. Seems friendly enough, they could have killed me or turned me over to the Soviets anytime."
Lee makes a sweeping motion with his arms as he walks towards the building
"This is Ladek Stary. I haven't heard about any regrouping point or seen any friendlies since that 'Zoo-30
shot my Snake out of the sky. I was attached to the 4-12 Cav, Air recon troop. Air Cav, as you Army guys call it."
Once inside, Lee discusses his options with Ikeman. "Sarge, I'm sure this
area is going to be swarming with Soviets looking for stragglers real fast. I'm considering either heading back
towards Germany, or making a run to the Free City of Krakow. What do you think?"
Lee also questions Josef about the marauders "Are these guys coming back? How many mortars? Any other heavy
weapons?"
Josef says something to one of the men in the building, who then heads into the basement.
Josef says "I doubt that the marauders will return with all the soviets in the area. They had at least 2 or
3 mortars, that or they were real good with them. The marauders had several machineguns, but didn't fire them."

<"Whoever said war was a young man's pursuit was right" he says to himself. Just as he begins to relax,
another one of his horses snorts again...this time another horse snorts in response, somewhere to the south.>
SFC Kartz crouches and takes up a position behind his cart, pulling his
shotgun with his left hand and his pistol in his right. Trying to be as
quiet as hisa 49 year old ass will let him he waits.......
<CPT Whitedog silently curses his horse and slides to the ground, looking towards the north...>
CPT Whitedog lays his horse down, trying to make the smallest target possible while he looks for the horse that
snorted.
