To become a squire the following must be completed:
B. Memorize the Page�s Scripture. C. Learn the proper way to bow. (Or to reverance.) D. Learn the rules of Courtesy. E. Learn the rules of eating etiquette. F. Learn the organizational structure and titles of The Royal Order Of Chivalry. 3. Complete your Crusader�s Cross. 4. Serve tables at a feast. 5. Participate in a Quest. 6. Serve your Noble and household as a page for six months. (The six months service is from the point of application.) 7. Be 14 years old. 8. Request to be elevated to Squire by the Noble whom you serve. Upon completion of the Page's Handbook, the page is made a squire at a household meeting. At this time, a squire can enter the service of a different noble. This is done by mutual agreement of the squire and his new Noble. The squire is now only required to wear the tabard of his Noble. The squire is allowed to wear a sword or dagger with his tunic. He is also entitled to wear as a regular course armor items such as a mail coif or mail bishop�s mantle, vembreces (forearm protection) or gauntlets. The Squire wears a brown or black belt.
