Usually, there are a number of cats and kittens awaiting a good home at Barbara's Rescue. These are mainly the "moggies" of the cat world. Occasionally, pedigree cats do arrive at the Rescue, but these tend to be very few and far between with generally a waiting list of prospective owners for them.
In order to find out which cats/kittens are readily available, you will need to contact Barbara Dollery by telephoning her direct or by sending an E Mail to myself, when I should be happy to forward your inquiry to Barbara. The telephone number and E Mail address are both given at the bottom of "Barbara's Cat Rescue Service" page, together with her conditions for cat/kitten ownership.
Before contacting Barbara, do please understand that a number of rescued cats are suffering acute stress after experiencing neglect and mistreatment and that their resistance to infection may well be reduced. It is for these reasons that your cat may also suffer from some minor health/psychological problems when you first take him home than at any other time. Symptoms could be coughing, sneezing, wheezing, and/or vomiting. Don't be too alarmed if this happens. My own cat suffered from the ALL the above mentioned symptoms when he first arrived home - but after a thorough check over by his vet, the passage of time and lots of 'motherly' love, he has now made a full recovery!
