LOS PELIGROSOS!
There's something about a club band with a Gaucho Suavé on drums,
a Hard Workin' Man on bass and a Deadly Statuesque Diva in go-go boots
playing center, that makes a habit of rocking Seattle to its foundations.

JILL JACKSON
Using only a tiny stage, a few props, and the kind of courage reserved
for a woman who would put herself in such a predicament,
she stood there, under the lights, before a full house, and performed.

THE AMBROSE BIERCE APPRECIATION SOCIETY
These tremendous people have shown their appreciation for me as well,
by including me in
The official Bierce Bibliography. I am honored and thank them

Hearing voices in L.A.

PHIL HENDRIE

If Hell was a comedy, this guy would be Satan.
His show on L.A. radio was one of the reasons I was able to bear living
in a $450 mo. one-room shit hole in Van Nuys for 9 months.
Some guys call themselves "cutting edge." Well, this is the guy who draws
the dotted line where the edge is.

I'll remember April, and smile.

Voice actor par excellence. Tons of hilarious audio files on her site.

April Winchell. One of the talking cows on those Real California Cheese commercials,
Cruela De'Ville on "101 Dalmatians, The Animated Series," one of many voices
in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and a million others; you know her voice. Nuff said.

CALLAS LIVES!

In L.A. I hooked up with at least one of my childhood icons...
Charlie Callas made me (and America) laugh when I was a kid.
A rumor in the 90s claimed he was dead, then suddenly he resurfaced...
and made my year! I emailed him immediately and sure enough--
he answered back that he was alive, kicking and (holy effin' toledo) performing!
One of the last great variety-era comedians in the manner of
Jerry Lewis, Don Rickles, Jonathan Winters, Jackie Gleason, etc.
And I'm glad to add, "phrrrt phrrt!!"

You need to read more...

DRUDGE IT UP
Another right-of-center media bigmouth to be sure,
but his site happens to be the best overall newssource on the web.

FUSEHEAD
When you realize that you take stuff way too seriously.

ASK GEORGE REEVES
How can you not? Give it a shot, and duck when it bounces off.
