For the First Quarter of 2006
Home Golf/Fishing/Billiards Update Wendy and I went to Adventure Landing (http://www.adventurelanding.com/) and played some miniature golf. It was a lot of fun, but the fun part was really the go carts. Here is the basics of what we learned: 1. If you are not careful some teenager will slam into the side of your car. 2. Even with my extra weight, I know how to make a go-cart go. Lessons Learned Lessons Learned Here are some of the things that I have learned. 1. I have read Jim Cramer's Real Money, Sane Investing in an Insane World and it is an incredible book. It is easily the best investing book I have ever read. 2. Jim Cramer is my new hero. I try to catch his TV show "Mad Money" and his radio show "Real Money" as often as I can. He is my new hero because he has motivated me again to spend more time doing stock research. Since that is something that I love it is really neat. 3. I have gained a lot of confidence in my stock picking abilities. I have had some success in the past so I knew I could do it, but I didn't have any money. 4. I have learned that my wife is beautiful. Actually, it is not something new that I learned, but I was reminded that she is more and more beautiful to me each day. 5. We have learned the importance of patience. (On the whole waiting time? That is the first thing to learn) 6. God is faithful and His faithfulness is always new every morning. Stay Tuned In the Next Issue: In the next issue I hope to include the following: 1.
