| WHAT DOES M.D.A. DO WITH THE MONEY WE RAISE?
Well in 2007 MDA� * Purchased more than 3,700 wheelchairs, leg braces and communication devices * Paid for 5,000 repairs to wheelchairs and leg braces * Provided over 5,2000 items - including lifts, walkers, hospital beds and bed & bath transfer equipment * Provided 89 MDA Camps so that more than 4,200 kids could go to camp at no cost * Funds 350 research teams worldwide * Supports 225 Hospital-Affiliated clinics, including 37 ALS Centers * Conducts seminars & workshops * 300 Professionally facilitated support groups offering emotional support to help families better cope with their special challenges AND THE LIST GOES ON! This year the Ride and Stride will take place at Harford Mall April 18th, if you can walk 1 lap around the inside of the mall - And get pledges you could help MDA maintain all that they do, and you will feel better inside knowing you helped!
