| Grand Tall Cedar Message - May 2009 Our degree team did a very good job on the Prologue and Royal Court at our last meeting. Many thanks to all who helped, in any way, to make the meeting very enjoyable. We have 10 Rms booked at the Brittany Motel in Wildwood for the annual convention. Hopefully the weather will break by then and we can enjoy a good time together for a few days. Our Annual Ladies Night Banquet will be on Saturday, May 9th.at the level Fire Hall. Please remember olur Basket Bingo on Friday, Oct 9th at the Aberdeen Fire Hall. Tickets are $12.00 each. If you can sell some tickets, please let me know and I will get them to you. We still need donations for our baskets and also help at the Bingo. Pease keep this date in mind as we will not meet until Sept. and then we will only have a couple of weeks until the vent. Please sell tickets over the summer. This is our only fund raiser and we need everyone to help. If you are not a regular attendee at our meetings, but would like to come to the May meeting, please let me know in advance. I order enough food for our usual number. | SDGTC Message This message is the last before our summer break. It doesn�t seem possible that half the year is almost gone. I want to thank our GTC for all his efforts in pulling together a cast for the full form ceremonial. Bro don worked very hard getting Brother Cedars to fill the various parts, and big thanks to Bob Kempsell for his dedication to the costumes, scenery, and all the little things needed to put on the ceremonial. Bob has been very involved with this for a lot of years, Thanks Bob, Thanks to all who helped get everything back upstairs - It is most appreciated. We have a pretty good number of Cedars & Cedarettes going to Wildwood for the convention. So we look forward to fun,frolic and fellowship. Don�t forget, our May meeting is sport shirt night. | CEDARETTE MESSAGE Hi Ladies Here we are in May and our last meeting until Sept. We will meet on May 22nd with our men. We will be celebrating the Forest Birthday. Come out and have some fun. We will have an Executive meeting on May 11th. Thanks to all the ladies who made hats for our April meeting. We had a lot of fun. Convention will be May 28th to 30th in Wildwood. We will have our Cedarette picnic on August 2nd at Churchville Recreation Complex. It is the same place we were last year. Flyers will be sent our prior to date. Hope everyone has a safe and great summer. Hope to see you all in Sept. At our Executive meeting in April we voted to raise our dues to $5.00. We will have to change our by laws and vote on it at our Executive meeting in May and if passed the dues in January will be $5.00. God Bless, Jane |
