Here's a quick -- definitely NOT TO SCALE diagram of the jig used to cut the angles and length of the segments.  Also note that a good saw blade is important, and making sure its verticle axes is set to precisely 90 dgrees -- don't trust the scale on the saw crank -- use a T-square and check it carefully. When it comes to saw blades, I like the ones with lots and lots of carbide teeth -- the more the better. The blue diagram below shows the saw table from the top.
