Robby had a fine rookie season for Arizona in 2003. Playing in 65 games, Robby hit .282 with eight home runs and 28 RBIs. In the field, Robby can play just about anywhere. Listed as a catcher, he can also play third base, left field and right field. A standout at the University of Georgia, Robby was drafted by Arizona in the 23rd round of the 1998 draft and made his major-league debut on April 11, 2003 against Milwaukee, going 1-for-2. On April 13, Robby hit his first major league home run and went 3-for-4 with four RBIs against the Brewers. In 2002 at Triple-A Tucson, Robby hit 11 home runs and drove in 73 runs while scoring 68 times. Like he has done with Arizona, Robby played all over the field, seeing time at catcher, third base and both corner outfield positions.
