Wonderworks: This was some kind of amusement park or something like that on International Drive in Orlando. I couldn't believe my eyes!! I think it's the coolest thing ever - I wanna meet the architect!!

The next few photos were taken at the Peabody Hotel. It's this seriously larny place (probably the nicest hotel I've ever walked into) and they have this weird tradition involving ducks! (Their emblem is a duck so it must have something to do with their history.)
Anyway, they have these ducks that apparently live in a penthouse suite in the hotel. Every day at 11am the ducks come down in the elevator to spend the day in the fountain in the foyer!! And then at 4pm they waddle back into the lift and head back to their suite!!
So this is a pic of the lift a few minutes before the ducks were scheduled to arrive. The sign says "Reserved for Peabody Ducks" because no-one else is allowed to use the elevator and screw up their grand entrance!

The red carpet gets rolled out so the poor ducks don't have to tread where the rest of us plebs have been tramping. (That's the foyer and fountain at the end of the corridor.)

This is the ducks' private swimming pool! As you can see, the stairs have been placed next to the fountain so the ducks don't have to strain themselves trying to get in.
