Matti, the only one who didn't do the rappelling, was not The Mole. He got sent
home last time.
Day 7 -Victoria
They drive to Apex Steel Ltd., Victoria, an old factory, where
they are instructed about Hatley castle, which has an expensive necklace. They
have to divide themselves into 3 groups: Two groups of 3 and one of four. The
group of four has to stay in the factory, the other two teams have to go outside
and each choose a car. Each car has instructions for the team inside.
Cathrine seems to be one of the leading roles in dividing the groups. The
group of four is:

They get a blueprint of the castle they are going to steal the necklace in and study it.
Team 1 (of the teams of 3):

They have to look for a Mister James in a hotel. There they get an envelope
with two sheets of information. One contains instructions where to find more
helpfull stuff, the other
one is a map of the room the necklace is in, with the laser beams drawn on it.
They go to the next location, where they find a bag in a safe. Inside the bag
are black suits, ropes and a spray can to make the laserbeams visible.
Team 2:

They drive straight to Hatley Castle to snoop around and explore
the building. They knock on the door, but no one opens. They go look at the
side, where they find an open window. Petter helps Mohamed
climbing in and then Mohamed opens the door. Quickly, Mohamed and Petter
sneak upstairs, as some men arrive to see what's happening. They didn't see the
two guys running upstairs, but saw Cathrine. She's standing near some
candy vending machines and tells the people she wanted to get some chocolate,
but they tell her to leave and she does.
Mohamed finds a poster of the castle on the wall, rips it off and hides
it up his sleeve. He sneaks past doors and windows as he suddenly sees someone
arriving. He hides behind a door, but the person gets closer. It's Petter.
They meet two people, who ask if they're walking around without a tour guide.Mohamed
says the tour guide told them they had to wait there.
They sneak out of the castle and search Cathrine who takes some polaroid
pictures of the castle.
Together they find out that they can use the fire escape, which
leads to the 3rd floor or the open window.
Later that evening, they have to break into the castle and steal
the necklace, without being noticed by the guards that walk around. They win
20,000 NOK if they succeed. Ingrid C, Tone, Trond and Mohamed
are the ones trying to break in. The others are waiting in the escape cars
nearby.
Ingrid C uses the fire escape to get in the castle and opens the door for
Tone and Trond. Mohamed stays outside, while the other
three search through the castle. They go down the stairs and find four monitors
of the security cameras. Ingrid C stays behind to watch them and alarm
the others if a guard is arriving.
Trond and Tone enter the room with the necklace, which is filled
with laser beams.
Suddenly, Ingrid C hears someone coming from to the stairs and she
quickly hides. A guard is walking towards the room with the security camera
monitors and closes the door to it. Then he goes back up the stairs again. Ingrid
C tells the others.
Meanwhile, outside Mohamed is spotted by one of the guards. The money
they can now win, is halfed.
Tone is making her way to the necklace, using the spray can. Ingrid C
is sure she can leave her place now, but has to find another way out, since the
door she came from, got locked by the guard. She enters a stairs which leads to
a hallway. But then the guard arrives and she has to hide. The guard checks some
rooms and leaves.
Tone is at the necklace now, which is covered by a glass bowl. She knocks
the bowl off and takes the necklace. They all run away and the alarm goes off.
The escape car drives towards the entrance to pick them up and they leave. They
win half of the money, which is 10,000 NOK, because Mohamed had been
caught.
Day 8 - Victoria
They go to Thetis Lake for their next challenge. They have to
select someone and Truls is chosen. He gets 50 red ribbons and a GPS. The
GPS tells him where he has to go to and he has to mark the route he follows,
with the red ribbons. He gets two and a half hour to get to the finish.
The others have to arrive at the finish too, with as much ribbons as possible.
So they have to follow the red ribbons. But the also have to take red ribbons
along with them if they want to win money. But taking red ribbons, means the
person who will come behind you, will have less chance to find the way. Because
the others all have to start one by one. They can win 1,000 NOK for each red
ribbon.
Petter has to start 12 minutes after Truls.
Truls meanwhile arrives at a river, where he has to take a kayak to
follow the route pointed out by the GPS. There are two kayaks, so one remains.
Anette starts at 2:06:00 (12 minutes after Petter) and again 12
minutes later, Ingrid K starts, followed 12 minutes later by Solveig
and later Mohamed and again later (at 1:18:00) Tone. Next is Trond
at one hour and 6 minutes and Cathrine 12 minutes after him. Last is Ingrid
C. She has 42 minutes left.
They all take a red ribbon now and then, but not too much, so the others can
still find their way. Petter has arrived at the river with the kayak. He
takes the one kayak that's left and peddles to a place where he finds the next
ribbon. Truls's kayak is there too. Truls has arrived at the
finish and finds an envelope attached to a tree. It seems he has to build a raft
with planks and empty barrels. Petter finds him and they start talking. Truls
asks him if he came by kayak and Petter says he did. Truls tells
him no one can reach them without a kayak.
Cathrine and Trond have come together and try to
find the way together, splitting up and telling each other if they find
anything. Petter goes back with the kayak and Anette and Mohamed
get on. He brings them to Truls. Ingrid K waits by the side. Mohamed
comes back to get her. The rest isn't there yet. Which is strange, because Mohamed
started after Solveig and he's already there.
Time's up. They got 12 ribbons to the finish in time, but not all contestants
arrived. This means that 1,000 NOK is taken from the kitty for each ribbon they
got to the finish. (because they only won the money for the ribbons if everyone
would make it on time) -12,000 NOK is taken from the kitty, bringing the total
to 107,000 NOK.
Suspicious in this episode
Mohamed got caught by a
guard, costing them 10,000 NOK.
Cathrine got caught when snooping around and went back outside. She
didn't search through the castle.
Did Truls mark the route clear enough?
Petter used the kayak to get to Truls and didn't bother to return
until Truls told him the others couldn't get there without a kayak.
Solveig, Tone, Trond, Cathrine and Ingrid C
didn't make it on time.
