Episode 10

Mohamed had to leave the game last episode. Petter now is the only male left.

Day 19 - B.C. High Mountain Road
They leave Victoria island and drive to Merritt. They go to Lundbom Lake and have to select one person (probably someone who has to observe). Petter is chosen. Then the four girls have to divide into 2 groups. Cathrine and Ingrid are together. Anette and Tone are the other group, but they can join Petter.

Team 1: Petter, Tone and Anette are taken to one side of the lake, where there's a tandem bike broken in bits and pieces. The girls have to install the bike and Petter is not allowed to help, but has to observe everything really well.

Team 2: Ingrid and Cathrine are taken to the other side of the lake. They have to install a tandem bike too, but the parts of the bike are in the lake and they have to dive in and find them. Both teams then have to get to the finish. There are two lakes next to each other and a path going aroun both lakes, forming a figure 8:

At the crossing of the road, they will be asked a question. If they answer correctly, they can continue on along the short way to the finish. If they answer incorrectly they have to go all the way around the lake to the finish. Of course, they don't know whether they have answered right or wrong and whether they will have the short or longer route.
They get an hour and a half and win 30,000 NOK if successful.
Petter sits in a cart that has to be put behind the bicycle. He won't have to do anything. If the bike is finished, the girls will have to cycle and he can sit in the cart. He watches the girls putting the bike together.
Ingrid and Cathrine get in the lake. The water is very cold, but they manage to get a lot of parts out of the water. Ingrid dives most parts up as Cathrine tries to put the bike together. After about 20 minutes, they are finished and start cycling.
Anette and Tone also finish some minutes later and start off, with Petter in the cart. But they have some trouble with the bike as they almost fall over and then push it up hill, with Petter still in the cart, since he's not allowed to help.

Ingrid and Cathrine arrive at the crossing point. The host is there standing in front of some signs, including the name of the lake: Lundbom Lake. He asks them when the national holiday of Canada is. If it's the first of July, they can go to the right. If they think it's the 11th, they can continue to the left. Luckily for them a car just arrives and Cathrine runs over to the car and asks the guy when the national holiday is. He tells her it's the first of July. "Thank you sir, I love you!", she says. To which the man starts laughing:"You love me all you want, honey!"
Ingrid and Cathrine go to the right, which is indeed the shortest road to the finish.

Anette and Tone stop to change places and they push the bike to the crossing point. They get asked the same question. Unfortunately, there's no one around to ask when the national holiday of Canada is. Anette says she thinks it's the 11th and Tone immediately agrees. The go to the finish following the left hand route, which is the longest. Apart from that, they're not even cycling, but pushing the bike. There is about 30 minutes left and Ingrid and Cathrine have arrived at the finish. In a car they find a suitcase. They can open it, but need a key to open the thing that's inside. The other team has that key.
Anette and Tone have started cycling again and are going very fast now. After a while Ingrid and Cathrine see them arriving. Ingrid yells to them to hurry up because they haven't got much time. They have 7 minutes and 18 seconds left as Ingrid takes the key and opens the thing they found in the suitcase. They find a hotel card. Seems as though the challenge has been won.
Then the host arrives. He has a question for Petter, who had been told to observe everything very well. He asks Petter if he knows the name of the lake, which was written on the sign at the crossing point. He doesn't know the answer. They don't win the money. The girls knew it was Lundbom Lake, but Petter didn't.

Day 20 - Tranquille on the lake, Kamloops
They drive to a town, which seems deserted. But there are snipers and hunters with dogs hidden at several places.
They first have to select someone based on a description the host gives them. Cathrine suggests Tone. Petter agrees and so Tone is chosen. She is taken to a helicopter.

The remaining four get a suitcase. They have to run through town and bring the suitcase to the landing place of the helicopter (with Tone in it). But they can get shot by the snipers. At least one person has to reach Tone in the heli to win 40,000 NOK. They have one hour to do so.

They start off in a building, where they have to go down a stairs in a pitch black room. Somewhere else in the building is a walki-talki. Tone is trying to contact them on it, but they haven't found it yet. They walk through the pitch black hallway. Then we see a sniper entering the hallway too. He starts shooting at them, so they all run to the exit. No one gets hit, but we see about 9 shots hitting the door right next to the one they exit from. They find the walki-talki and Cathrine picks it up.
Petter is holding the suitcase. They leave the building as the hunters and snipers take their positions.
Tone has to guide them to the landing place, as she's flying over the town. She also has to inform them about sniper positions.

The four are hiding behind a big bush. Tey decide to run across the street to the next building. The three girls are first and Petter follows with the suitcase. A sniper starts shooting at them and hits Petter. He is taken out of the game and has to leave the suitcase behind. Cathrine comes running back for it. The three girls are hiding around a corner. Anette has the walki-talki, Ingrid the suitcase. They ask Tone where to go and follow her instructions. They hide behind a corner, but a hunter with dog is behind them. He can't shoot them, but can try to catch them. Cathrine has the suitcase now. Anette and Ingrid start running, so the guard runs after them, not knowing that Cathrine is around the corner too. He runs past her and so she can run in the opposite direction with the suitcase.

But now Anette and Ingrid have lost Cathrine, who ran back to the point they split up. She sees the other two in the distance though and runs to them, where Ingrid takes over the suitcase from her. They run fast to the place Tone tells them to run to. A hunter is on their heels though.
They reach the open fields, where the helicopter will land, but they don't know a sniper is hidden in the high grass... They don't get hit though and Cathrine can hand over the suitcase to Tone, who quickly flies off with it. They win 40,000 NOK. Their kitty is at 197,000 NOK.

Suspicious in this episode
Tone and Anette take a while to put the bike together. They give the wrong answer to the question, leading them to the longer route.
Petter can't answer a simple question even though he had to observe everything during the first challenge, losing athe entire challenge.
Cathrine immediately suggested Tone to go in the helicopter. Did she think Tone would stuff up?
Petter got hit, whilst carrying the suitcase.
Cathrine lost the other two girls and was carrying the vital suitcase.
