Host:"Four of them were left and finally had to do
something together. And then against each other. And how!"
Day 13- Ubud
The four of them arrive at a peaceful hotel.
CC
Marc-Marie:"It's different... when the group gets smaller and
someone is eliminated, you start missing that person more and more. Sander was
fun and nice for the group! We now have a bit of a silly group."
Lottie:"It was very surprising to me that Sander got
eliminated, sinde he was Dr Mole! Professor Dr Mole! He knew everything about
the show... A kind of positive energy has left us... the group is getting very
small."
Isabelle:"If I look at the group that remains.... the other
three have spent a lot of time together and I had more of a connection with
Sander so... I really feel like I'm on my own! Very much! It's a pity he's not
here anymore."
Padma Beach
They arrive at Padma Beach for a challenge, but since they still have to
pay € 2,000 from last episode, the host asks Marc-Marie to give it now,
which he does.
In the next challenge they can win € 4,000. They get a compass and a 25 meter
rope. The clues they have to find are hidden under the sand and they get 2
hours.
They start digging and Isabelle finds a note.

Lottie:"We found a piece of paper with a length and a number of
degrees."
Isabelle reads it:"35 meter. 145 degrees."
They guess they have to go to that direction. Yvon:"But how
do you do that with a compass?!"
CC
Lottie:"None of us knew how a compass worked."
Isabelle:"I know it points to the nord, but that's all I
know!"
Marc-Marie thinks he's figured it out.
CC
Marc-Marie:"I never worked with a compass before. I worked on
it, but later itturned out it was wrong. We weren't doing well!"
Isabelle:"Because you don't know how it works, you can't
control whether the other one is doing it correctly."
Yvon walks off with the rope and wonders why it is tied
together at one spot:"Could that be 10 meters or something? Oh shit! I
already broke it!"
Marc-Marie:"Don't pull so hard!" Yvon:"I
didn't!" They hold the ends together, so they can still use it.
CC
Lottie:"Then you think well we've got a 25 meter rope, then you
can add half of the rope to it, so you have 37.5 meter and then we had to go 2.5
meters back to get to 35 meters... but I thought there had to be a more
efficient way!"
Isabelle:"One of them is making it confusing anyway, because
that's The Mole."
Marc-Marie is standing at the starting point with the
rope and Yvon is at the other end. Lottie and Isabelle are
halfway. They have to go through a circle of people who are also sitting at the
beach. Marc-Marie:"I think you can go stand next to Yvon! You
don't have to hold the rope!"
Isabelle:"Don't yell at me like that!" Marc-Marie:"I'm
not talking to you, I'm talking to Lottie." Isabelle:"And
you're looking at me?" Marc-Marie:"No I'm looking in the
direction of you because Lottie is behind you!"
Marc-Marie tells Lottie to go to Yvon and help turn the
rope into the correct direction.

Marc-Marie:"Declinations can screw things up very much, because
a small deviation from the rope at the starting point can differ three meters at
the end of the rope."
He tries to explain it again. Lottie is just watching
him... Marc-Marie:"Are you even listening to me?"
Lottie:"I am, I just don't get it! But just tell me."
CC
Yvon:"Lottie was saying that she didn't understand it many
times, which is weird of course, because she studied maths. She understands
those things very well!"
Lottie:"(laughs)It was supicious that I didn't know
that? Well that worked to my advantage then!"
Marc-Marie explains that if they use the full length of
the rope, they have 25 meters. Then get both ends together, so they have half
the length of the rope to get to 37.5 meters. Yvon:"But if we
have 5 pieces of 5 meters, we can find it exactly!" Isabelle:"But
we can't measure 5 pieces out!"

Lottie:"If several people start explaining at the same time, I
get a kind of black-out. It's very weird. I just can't think anymore."
They decide to go for Marc-Marie's plan first, but Yvon
seems to persist.
CC
Yvon:"My strategy was to first be sure we had exactly one meter
of rope measured out. If you know what one meter is, you can still add one meter
to it and measure it perfectly. But they didn't want to listen to me and were
just running around. Eventually with lots of tries and running around and
digging up a lot of sand, we eventually found the correct place. But is was more
luck than wisdom."
Isabelle:"I probably don't see those Mole actions or
something. I never once had a moment where I thought 'Yes! Now I've got you!'
"
They have found 37.5 meters from the starting point into the
right direction (figured out by the degrees and the compass). So Isabelle
suggests to take two and a half steps back and sort of guess where the next clue
will be burried.

Isabelle:"I thought ok, three of them are discussing the length
of the rope. They'll figure it out. But I can already take several paces so I
kind of know where it is and then draw a big circle and start digging there and
notice whether I'm right or not."
Eventually, Lottie finds something: a kite and another
note, saying '19 meter, 244 degrees'
Marc-Marie thinks the kite has to go up in the air 19 meters and starts
binding the rope to the kite. But Yvon tells him they just need to go 19
meters on land and dig up a next clue. Marc-Marie:"Oh yeah you're
right, this rope doesnt have to go on this kite!" Yvon:"No
indeed.... you're being very weird!"
While the other three are working with the rope, Isabelle already
takes a few paces and has kind of figured out where the next clue will be. A bit
later, the others arrive in that area too, using the rop.

Isabelle:"So in the end, in combination of my paces and with
their rope we did manage to find it each time."
They find another clue and go into that direction. The rope goes
through a group of tourists while they are still trying to figure it out. Marc-Marie:"I
think we're the dumbest team on The Mole ever, don't you think?!" Lottie:"Yeah
I think so too."
They arrive at a place where there's a parasol and two beach benches. Isabelle
asks the people who are sitting on it, if they can move it aside to dig. The
people don't mind and they start digging and find another kite and clue, which
leads them to a place where several surfing boards are standing. There they find
a bag. In it... the polaroid camera they also used for the crocodile challenge
and last episode's challenge.
Isabelle:"Oh no, not again!"
They foudn all clues within an hour. They still have another hour left to
get the kites up in the air. But not the small ones they found, but three very
big kites with words on it! They have to get them all in the air and make a
polaroid picture of it. If the host can read the sentence on the kite, they will
win the money.
Marc-Marie takes control of the first kite, which has 'WHO' on it. They
quickly manage to get it in the air.

Isabelle:"All three kites had words on them and the words would
form a sentence together. And that's hard, because those kites are very big,
there was a lot of wind and you only had one rope attached to it, so it was hard
to get it up in the air and keep it there too!"
Isabelle tries to get the next kite in the air. Locals
help them and the kite goes up, revealing the letters 'IS THE' underneath it.
Yvon gets the final kite up in the air quickly too, of course, since the
other two kites had 'WHO' and 'IS THE' on it, the third one has 'MOLE' written
on it.. Lottie now has to make a picture of it, but Marc-Marie is
far away.

Marc-Marie:"I had to keep the kite up in the air so I kept on
running and almost was at the other end of Bali! But then I was wrong there and
then we had to figure out who had to stand in which order to have a correct
sentence."
Since he is so far off, Lottie can't get all three kinds
in the picture and suggests the girls to go towards Marc-Marie. But then
they see that his kite falls down and they have to get it back up.
CC
Marc-Marie:"I told her to make a photo and then she said 'Yeah
but I only have three pictures left.' and she had a whole pack of pictures under
her arm so I said just make several pictures until you have them all three at
once in th picture."
Lottie:"It was too far off and the kites were too far away
from each other and I thought you'd never be able to read it, so I didn't take a
picture. Marc-Marie had the 'WHO' which was too far away so I was waiting for
him to get closer, but then he got angry and screamed 'Did you take that picture
yet?!!' (sighs) So I said 'No because you're too far away from it and I
can't get them together in the picture.' He then yelled 'Just take a lot
of pictures! Doesn't matter! At least you'll have a picture!!' So I thought ok
whatever I'll take a picture."
Marc-Marie:"I don't get why she was waiting but... I thought
maybe she's cting as if she's The Mole, but if she was I have to say it wasn't
one of her best days."
Lottie takes pictures of the three kites together, whilst
walking towards the kites. But they are so far away, you can't read the words.
You can't zoom in with a polaroid. But the host is mild, because all three kites
are in the air and on the picture, they win € 4,000! They now have € 19,000.

Isabelle:"Challenge succeeded! Finally!!! It was about time we
won some money!"
Moments before the finale, every information about The Mole is important. That
evening they get to ask one contestant three questions they have to answer. Of
course they can't ask that one particular question!
Isabelle chooses Yvon.
Isabelle:"Yvon, who stole Marc-Marie's picture in the boat with
the crocodile challenge."
FLASHBACK CC Jim:"I made
a picture of Marc-Marie. I was the first one who made a picture and it got
stolen immediately... I trusted the rest too much I guess and all of a
sudden*woosh* it was just gone!"
Jim is questioning Yvon whether
she has stolen the picture. She seems to get agitated about it and says she
doesn't have it.
CC
Marc-Marie:"Nah, I stole that picture..."
Yvon:"Marc-Marie himself."
Isabelle:"How did you sabotage a challenge?"
Yvon:"I tried sabotaging all the way in the beginning with
the challenge on the train by asking Jim en Sander to look in the back at the
post bags and meanwhile we drove past several poles."
FLASHBACK CC Sander:"She knows the game too. When
saying such a remark you either don't like playing anymore or you're
deliberately sabotaging it all!"
Yvon:"So obvious. I hoped Sander with his fanatic detective
work, would immediately think it was a weird comment!"
Both laugh.
Isabelle:"Is that the only time you tried sabotaging?"
Yvon:"That was the only time I really did that. I didn't do
it afterwards anymore, it was too scary!"
Marc-Marie has chosen Lottie.
Marc-Marie:"Lottie... do you think people suspect you?"
FLASHBACK CC
Sander:"Lottie is The Mole!"
Victoria:"Lottie."
Isabelle:"Lottie."
Roeland:"Lottie, yes is possible!"
Jim:"Lottie."
Yvon:"I still think it's Lottie."
Yvonne:"So I'm sticking to Lottie."
Gijs:"Lottie Hellingman!"
Lottie:"Yes."
Marc-Marie:"Where do you think you went wrong?"
Lottie:"I wanted to do the stuntflying better."
FLASHBACK of Lottie describing the stunt for Sander
but laughing and giggling in between.
Marc-Marie:"Do you find it difficult to mislead
people and get them eliminated from the game that way?"
Lottie:"No it's not difficult to mislead people. Yes I find
it difficult if people have to leave the game because of me. And I mean
that."
Marc-Marie:"But you don't find it that difficult that you
stop doing it?"
Lottie:"No." (laughs)
Lottie chooses Yvon.
Lottie:"Do you find it difficult to be The Mole?"
Yvon:"I'm not The Mole."
Lottie:"Before we started the game, we were all
asked whether you'd like to be The Mole and whether you would be able to play
that role. What did you answer?"
Yvon:"I said it would be fun if I could practice first. I
didn't want the responsibility of such a big production... ten people who are
used to be in the picture... I didn't want to have that responsibility at all! I
want to play the game."
Lottie:"And to end I'd like to know what you
wouldn't ever want to miss."
Yvon:"Pieter, my boyfriend! I'd never want to miss him!"
Yvon chooses Isabelle.
Yvon:"Describe to me what exactly did you do during the
exchanging of the suitcases in Adelaide?"
Isabelle:"I fell on my face very hard there."
FLASHBACK Isabelle
is behind Pete and exchanges the suitcase. She wants to run away, but stumbles
and falls on the ground!
CC Isabelle:"I had planned to trip and fall so he would
see me, but I didn't want to fall that hard! But oh well ,you have to do
something to get correct answers. So actualyl that hard fall saved me, because
maybe it would have been too obvious."
Isabelle:"I wanted to be noticed, but I didn't want it
to be in that way."
Yvon:"Were you the helping Mole in that
challenge?"
Isabelle:"... yes!"
Yvon:"Ok thank you!"
Day 14 - Garuda Wisnu Kencana
The contestants arrive at a spot with barrels fuming with smoke.
The host tells them one of them will win an exemption, which is very important,
because that person will automatically get into the final round.
They have to divide into two duo's. The exemption is in a wooden chest in the
battlefield, but the chest is locked and the key is guarded by a strange
creature called Godzilla, who has 8 lives. Each time he looses a life, a red
flag will be removed to show how many lives he's got left. When he's defeated,
they can reach the key.
They can also win money by shooting a special device. When it changes colour,
they win € 1,000. But only the money that the winner of the game (= the one
who will get the exemption) has earned, will go into the group pot.
The contestants can be shot too and the exemption only couts when they're still
alive. They get three lives and can recharge their shields (they're going
lasershooting) somewhere in the battlefield, but the recharger is within the
shooting range of Godzilla...

Marc-Marie:"Team A starts on one side, which was Isabelle and
me. Team B, Yvon and Lottie, started on the other side of the battlefield."

GODZILLA: 8 lives left
Yvon shoots one of the devices to get € 1,000.

Marc-Marie:"We could shoot the special devices to earn money.
However, when you're shot, you lose all the money you had won."
Lottie:"I believe Yvon was the only one who shot one of those
things! I think everyone just wanted to go for that exemption."
Isabelle:"Who doesn't want to have that?! Because it meant
you'd be in the final round immediately."
Yvon:"An exemption right in front of the final round is the
highest thing you can get. Apart from winning, this is the most important
step!"
Yvon and Lottie get near Godzilla, who shoots at
them, but misses. The girls hide behind some barrels. Yvon shoots and
hits Godzilla, who now has 7 lives left!

Marc-Marie:"We had a very defensive strategy. The other two are
a bit aggressive, Yvon and Lottie. We let them fight Godzilla first, so they'd
die first and then we would come in!"
Godzilla has hit Lottie! When Marc-Marie and Isabelle
arrive, she gets shot too.

Isabelle:"At first I thought, I'm going for that
exemption! You didn't have to work together, because you also had to shoot your
fellow contestants."
Yvon tells Lottie and Isabelle to come
closer. Yvon then hits Godzilla again, who has 6 lives left. Isabelle:"Yvon
is shooting!" Marc-Marie:"At you?" Isabelle:"No
in general... oh now she is shooting at me... I'm dead."
Yvon has indeed killed off Isabelle, who walks away.
Meanwhile Lottie hits Godzilla again, but gets hit herself too... twice!
She's now dead and has to recharge.

GODZILLA: 4 lives left
Lottie fully recharges her pack and goes back. Isabelle
tries it too, but says it doesn't work. Marc-Marie gets hit.
Isabelle:"Marc-Marie, I think I'm dead, because I got shot by
them."
Marc-Marie:"Too bad for you, but it's good news for me!"
Isabelle:"Yeah I know, that's why I tell you!"
Yvon meanwhile keeps on screaming like a madman. She screams at Marc-Marie
that she shot Godzilla three times already and that he has to do something too. Yvon:"You
have to come closer!!" Marc-Marie:"Yeah, your
mother!"
CC
Yvon:"I found it so weird that the others kept hiding in the
back and being so scared."
Marc-Marie:"Well she's The Mole anyway, so it doesn't matter
to her. Whether she's got that exemption or not, she can just play the game!
Then I would have played better too!"
Yvon shoots Godzilla again! But Marc-Marie gets
shot too and is dead. He has to recharge. He quickly runs over to the recharger,
but is too impatient. He only recharges two blocks and runs off again! Isabelle
tries it again too. It works now. Each time a block is reloaded, they hear a
sound. But since the others are still shooting their laserguns at Godzilla, she
hears three sounds and runs off again, but she has only recharged one block...

Isabelle:"I had terrible pain in my stomach all day, but I
wanted to go for it. I thought I'll collapse after I've won that
exemption!"
Yvon shoots Godzilla again and loudly screams. Lottie
and Yvon get hit and then Yvon shoots Godzilla again!

Lottie says she's not able to hit Godzilla. Yvon
screams:"You've to get closer!!!!"

Lottie:"Yvon kept on yelling to get closer, but I thought yeah
if you're The Mole that's easy to say!"
Yvon:"She's sure of her spot in the final round so it wasn't
as important to her as it was too me!"
Isabelle takes revenge and shoots at Yvon. Yvon:"Isabelle
is shooting at me, man!!! You should be glad to have me!! Don't be such a scary
shit and come closer!!"
Marc-Marie:"Yeah yeah, we know, how many lives do you have
left?"
Yvon:"I've got 2, I mean 3!"
Marc-Marie:"Yeah you've still got 3 left, you see!"
Yvon:"Go sit behind a barrel!"
Marc-Marie:"I don't know, but I think that Godzilla is your
friend or something!"
Yvon:"If you come closer and you frisk, he won't shoot!"

Lottie (acting out Yvon):" 'You have to frisk, you have
to frisk, he won't do anything if you frisk!' "
Godzilla is hit again and lost all his lives! They can now get
to the key!

Lottie:"Eventually, Godzilla was dead and everyone ran to that
key!"
Marc-Marie:"And I saw Isabelle, who was running towards me
and then I shot her!"

Marc-Marie:"Then I saw Yvon getting the green flag to grab the
key!"
Yvon tries to get the key, but suddenly, Marc-Marie
appears from the side and shoots her! She screams of course and throws away the
flag with the key.

Yvon:"Marc-Marie shot me right in my face! I exploded!"
Marc-Marie:"Then I looked around and I saw Lottie startling
and I thought I'll quickly shoot her before she shoots me!"
A battle arises and he is able to shoot Lottie once and
then takes the flag and runs away. Meanwhile, Yvon is recharging herself
and telling Lottie to shoot him, which she does!

Yvon:"Lottie and me were a great team. She shot him!"
Marc-Marie:"I died! And then I had to drop the flag and try
to quickly recharge, but there was no point, because Yvon took that flag and
started running!"
Lottie:"And suddenly she had that key and I thought Hey!!...
Oh!"
Marc-Marie:"I also had a short panick attack in my head,
because I thought now I shot everyone and ISabelle can just grab that flag and
run! But later it turned out I had killed Isabelle long time ago!"
Isabelle:"Marc-Marie was nasty! But I'm not saying I wouldn't
have done the same.... So I don't blame him."
Yvon hysterically runs past Isabelle, who's
casually sitting on a rock. Yvon:"Do you still have
lives?!!!" Isabelle:"No." Yvon:"I
don't believe you!!!" Isabelle:"Ok fine."

Lottie:"Then I thought the game was over and I couldn't shoot
Yvon, because I had killed Marc-Marie and Isabelle was dead already, so I
thought ok, our team is fine. But then I started chasing her."
Isabelle:"I watched Lottie. That was the only thing I could
do, sit back and watch. And she wasn't fanatic at all! But maybe I think that
because she's The Mole to me. But she wasn't fanatic at all. If I wanted that
exemption I would have dealed with Yvon!"
Lottie:"There was no killer instinct in me that wanted to get
Yvon. It just didn't come. And somehow I also thought, let Yvon have it."
Yvon:"And then again, she doesn't need it anyway, because
she'll get into the final round anyway! And because she's sure she's in the
finale, I find it logical she protected me to get that exemption."
She gets the exemption and hysterically screams. Marc-Marie:"Yeah
yeah, we hear you!"

Marc-Marie:"I really wanted to have that exemption, because you
can be more sure to get into the finale that way."
Isabelle:"I don't feel bad for Marc-Marie one bit! Not at
all! If he didn't call me in the end and then bang took my last life, then I
could shot Yvon in the end and Marc-Marie could still get the exemption. But oh
well Marc-Marie! It's your own fault!"
They talk about it afterwards. The girls were amazed at Marc-Marie's
cold gaze when he shot them.
They didn't win any money though... € 19,000 in the group pot and an exemption
for Yvon.

Yvon:"I'm in the finale! I will be the winner! Wacth me!"
Isabelle:"I'm going to the final round. I'm very fanatic for
the first time. I don't want to go out because of a stomach ache!"
They enjoy their last meal before the finale, while a band plays
'How deep is your love'. Isabelle is still a bit ill and Yvon
tells her to get some rest, so Isabelle leaves the table to go to bed.

Marc-Marie:"Yeah, I'm going to the finale, of course I am. But
the questionnaires get more scary, because there are less people and the chance
to be eliminated gets bigger. So I'm really going to study tonight!"
Day 15 - Jimbaran
They have breakfast and afterwards the questionnaire.
CC
Lottie:"I really want to get to the final round. I'm going to
concentrate during the questionnaire. I'll have to answer questions correclty as
much as possible. But I can't say I'll be in the final round, because I don't
know what the others will do."
Suspicions
Lottie:"Yvon is still The Mole to me. But I saw seasons where The
Mole was the one who was least suspected. So then Marc-Marie would be a good one
too."
Isabelle:"My Mole was holding the kites. She took two
pictures and both of them had the three kites in it. She was frisking and
running and stuff, ut I'm so fanatically trying to keep that kite up in the air.
I know I have to look around for clues then and I try to do so, but... yeah...
and then Marc-Marie who's standing behind me and who... pff I don't know. I
really don't!"
Marc-Marie:"It's Yvon. I'm not even doubting anymore.
Yesterday she was very tired and sick and I almost confronted her with the fact
that she's The Mole. But I just feel it's her. Everything she does... I feel
it's her! I'm not really doubting but I... to the outside I let them think I'm
suspecting Lottie."
Suspicious in this episode
Yvon broke the rope
immediately when the challenge started.
Marc-Marie had ran off too far to get the kites together.
Lottie was walking and running whilst taking the pictures.
Yvon shot Isabelle in the beginning, but she also was about the
only one who killed Godzilla.
Lottie didn't really try to get the exemption.

has an exemption. But who will be eliminated then?
