Day 14
The group needs to appoint 6 people who are looking ofr adventure
and one who wants to take it easy. Both Kate and Jennifer
volunteer, but the group decides to take Kate. She goes somewhere
with Anderson and the group waits at the beach. Jim and Jennifer
think they made a bad decision about taking Kate.
Kate is held captive in a church in an abandoned village. The
others have to rescue her. There are two snipers armed with laser
guns. The group isn't armed, but they can communicate with each other
through walkie ta
lkies.
After rescueing Kate, she and at least one of the other players have to
go to a cinema where Anderson is waiting and ring a bell. They get 45
minutes to do so and if they win, they'll earn $30,000.
BUT!!! Kate gets an offer: If she is freed and she arrives at the cinema
all alone, she can win an exemption, but the group won't win any money. So
she has to betray her team and shoot them to win the exemption.
The game starts. Henry quickly gets shot first. Jennifer
helps Kathryn to run for cover by arning her for a sniper. Jim,
who's behind a tree, also sees the sniper. Kathryn runs past the sniper
and gets shot. Jennifer asks for a diversion, so Jim
sacrifices himself so that she can get past the sniper and enter the
church. Steven only says he's hidden somewhere, but doesn't get to
the church. Charlie gets shot too. Steven and Jennifer
are the only ones left.
In the church Jennifer fress Kate and explains her what's
happened so far. Kate grabs the lasergun and when Jennifer
asks about it, she says she's the only one who is allowed to use it. Kate
doesn't clearly explain where the cinema is, because she wants to go for the
exemption. According to the rules of the game, all players who haven't
been shot have to go to the final destinatio
n.
So Steven says he's coming towards them and tells Jennifer that he
is going to check in with her once every minute. If he doesn't check in,
it means he got shot. Jennifer tells him she'll wait 10 minutes and
if he doesn't show up, they'll make a run for it. Jennifer and Kate
leave the church and Jennifer gets shot. Kate too gets shot. Game
over....
The entire group (except for Steve) comes together in the cinema where
Anderson is waiting. Jennifer explains the rest what happened. Then
Steve enters the cinema and tells everyone he's still alive. Kate
raises her gun to shoot him, hoping she'll still earn the exemption. Steve
grabs the gun and they struggle over it together. Anderson tells Kate to
explain the group why she did it. The group doesn't really like it. However, Jim
asks who wouldn't have done the same. Charlie raises his hand. Jim
doesn't believe him. Anderson tells the group that the challenge had
already failed when Jennifer and Kate left the church, because the couldn't
leave the church if there were still some alive players outside.
Day 15
Anderson warns the group that there will be a trap in the next
challenge. They go to a university where they have to divide themselves
into 2 groups. The challenge is worth $120,000. Group 1 consist of Henry,
Kate, Jim and Jennifer. Group 2 is Kathryn, Charlie
and Kate.
Group 1 is taken away to start the challenge. They get 30 minutes to solve 8
riddles
. Each riddle is worth
$15,000. They must tell the answer to a professor. They can answer 5 riddles
correct, which earns them $75,000.
Anderson takes them through the university, passing lots of hallways and
classrooms. After a while they come in a room where they see a monitor
with the second group on it. He tells group 1 that they will start solving the
same riddles. But for every riddle they find, $15,000 is deducted from the
amount group 1 had won. They can let someone run back to warn them about it. Jim
is chosen and he tries to find the group. The other group can solve 2 riddles
before Jim finds them. Jim tries to explain them about the trap.
But the group doesn't really believe him at first. Eventually, Steven
says he believes him and that they should stop solving riddles. When Anderson
gets back, he tells them that, since the first group started a little later
because of the tour around the university, he ads $15,000 to their total, which
earns them a total of $60,000.
The players can finally call home again.
Day 16
Each contestant is called in separately to do an interview.
During the interview Anderson is called away and the contestant has to wait all
alone. On the table there is a fake production notebook. Will the players look
in it? A hidden camera shows that Kathryn is the only one who does.
Suspicious
Henry gets shot first.
Steve didn't get to the church.
Jennifer and Kate left the church before Steve got there.
Kate wanted to sabotage te challenge to win an exemption.
Jim was a bit slow finding the other group in the riddle challenge.
Kathryn was the only one who peeked in the production notebook.
