3 Waskerley Way
Sunday 27 June, 12noon The Waskerley Way is sheer bliss: dry weather, a huge tailwind, a slight downhill all the way to Sunderland, and a surface rough enough to be exciting and even enough to zip along at 30 mph. Just us, up on the airy hills, the sprawling mounds of the Pennines behind us, bombing along in the sun on our bikes. Ah; this beats working.
