Research Notes (Husband)
After his wife died in childbirth, John roach went away to find work. He first went to Maine, and then to New York, which is where he died in 1970, in Boonville, Oneida County. He worked in the pulp and paper industry there. His brother Leonard often went to visit him there.
His son David was raised by Jim Roach and Mary Targett, while sister Bertie was raised by Tillie Roach. John was coming back from time to time to visit them.
