The purpose of this presentation is to inform nurses of current practice, and an update to clinical practice based upon findings in a nursing journal about oxytocin dilution and fluid administration for labor induction.
Current practices vary nationwide. The research utilization from this study will help define why we need to attempt to implement a standard practice protocol for oxytocin dilutants.
