Feeling sad because the Formula 1 season has ended. Quite pathetic really. Hopefully I can go and watch a Grand Prix next year. Been waiting for 2 years. Well, it's too early to say since the season has only ended today. I'm feeling really anxious too, probably because of next Saturday! Getting a break from here and especially away from that annoying Lam(from Hong Kong)! Today's weather - awful! The roads outside my house looked like rivers. I REALLY, REALLY CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT SATURDAY - 19.10.02!

Went to have dinner with Ian and Alison last night. Somehow got talking about my hearts problems. Something which i never thought i'd do. We talked about things like religion, guilt, generalisations and some problems i had earlier this year, i.e. Carol and family. I absolutely love having these kinds of conversations with Ian. I think i've told him and Alison a lot about what I'm really feeling and not have to put on a hard front all the time. I feel so much more relieved after our conversation yesterday.
Well, i shan't keep other people's "monkey". As Alison said, we should not  spend our energy on guilt. I'm just hoping i get through this week quickly. 3 more days and counting.....

BLOODY PISSED OFF WITH  THE STUPID TRAINS! Got on at 7.20am this morning in Penzance. Supposed to be a direct to Glasgow but they asked us to get off at Plymouth. I've changed trains at Exeter, Birmingham, Preston and now Carlisle! This is such a nightmare. Now, i have no bloody idea why we've been waiting at Carlisle for more than half an hour! Don't know how long more we'll have to wait here! I'm losing my patience with the train services. The workers are on strike. I'm supposed to be in Glasgow at 5.18pm, but it's about 7.30pm. Urgh!! Bloody trains. These bloody people are always on strike!

Note : Reached Glasgow at 9.20pm. Waited in Carlisle for 1 whole bloody hour for the train driver to be taxied down from Glasgow to drive us back up! Was greeted in the station by Syeekin, who just came back from St Andrews that day and Jose, who had the same problem as i did, but managed to get on the earlier train. I was greeted by a big bear hug from Jose after the journey, which was good after all that stressful 14 hours!

On the coach to Aberystwyth now. Got delayed in Birmingham again. We(Me, Syeekin and Jose) went to Girvan on Sunday to visit Shiang and her family. They threw me a surprised birthday party there! Syeekin managed to sneak the cake in her bag and Jose nearly gave the secret away. I really didn't have a clue though. On Monday, Jose and i went to Edinburgh. It was pouring down with rain! We went on the city tour, then to Edinburgh Castle and the Whiskey Heritage Centre. We had loads of whiskey to drink and didn't have lunch before that. Needless to say, the both of us were a bit drunk! Got back to Glasgow and managed to watch the movie "XXX". Jose was complaining too much and Syeekin couldn't stand it. She gave him a piece of her mind, which made him feel really guilty after that. I must say that i, too got a bit scared of her then. Oh ya, while waiting for Syeekin to meet us, Jose and i were looking around the bus station. We were looking at this Indian man meditating on the floor and suddenly i saw Syeekin sneaking up to us. I kept quiet and she scared Jose. He screamed so loud because he was shocked Everyone in the bus station turned and looked at us. Haha.
Tuesday, Jose and i thought we were late to catch our 9.15am train. Because of the rain and bad weather, there was a massive traffic jam. So Joy(Syeekin's host mum) dropped us by the side of the road and we ran to the station! When we got to the station, the timetables were messed up and we missed the London train. The other 9.15am train got canceled because of heavy rain and flooding on the tracks. We could have got on one of the trains, but the man didn't let us on. Jose then got so mad, he shouted and "accidentally" swore at the workers. I think his exact words were umm..."fucking hell". I swore, he screamed so loud, the whole train station could here him. Everyone was staring at us. We didn't know what to do but wait. The man whom Jose swore at came up to us after about half an hour and told that he'll put us on a taxi to Carlisle(115 pounds to Carlisle from Glasgow!!). From there, he said we could catch a train to our destinations. In Carlisle, the train delayed again for more than an hour. We managed to get on one. I got down at an earlier stop to go to Liverpool, and he went on back to Aberystwyth. Finally reached Liverpool at 5.15.pm. Managed to check into a youth hostel. That night, i went to watch "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" by myself, just to pass time.
On Wednesday, i went to the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, then went to the Albert Docks, Tate Gallery and The Beatles Story(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and tour on the Liverpool Ducks, also recommended. That night, i went to watch "Romeo and Juliet" in the Liverpool Playhouse. The main actor is the guy acting in Harry Potter 2.
