Nala came to us on September 19th, 2005. She is a three
year old Lilac Tortie European Burmese that was rescued from a breeder in New
York. I don't know much about the situation that she came from, only that
several cats were confiscated from this breeder because of overcrowded
conditions. She does have some minor health issues that we are
currently treating so hopefully she will be entirely healthy very soon!
We've had her now for two weeks and so far she and Neo absolutely hate each
other! The first few days were filled with hissing matches between the two
of them, and now they either avoid each other, or glare at each other. There
seems to be a major battle going on right now for dominancy. We'll see how
that turns out! I am hoping that, in time, they will get used to each
other and become great friends!
