The VIC-20 as a cultural icon? (Images freely available on-line; various photographers. Eg., Google images, "VIC-20.") Commodore literally manufactured millions of units for people of all ages and walks of life on multiple continents. Each image below has a story to tell, a couple of them are quite funny. A picture is worth a thousand words. I wouldn't be surprised if most of these folks grew to pursue careers in IT. One of them is Linus Torvalds! Another genius, Konrad Zuse, proposed that physics is computation.
