Biography

Enrique Martin Morales was born in Puerto Rica, San Juan, on December 24th. He has his own way of dancing and singing. His music crosses frontiers and reaches cultures. Ricky Martin sells a lot of CDs and is on top of music all over the World. But most important: He is a person who lives his dreams and respects his semblance.
Ricky started his career early in commercials on TV. He was 12 years old (1984), when he entered into “Menudos”, compounded for Charlie Masso, Robi Rosa (the latter has been a friend of Ricky and helped him to make his CDs), Raymond Acevedo and Sergio Gonzales.
In 1989 he becomes 18 years old, which is the limit to participate in Menudos. He decided to finish his studies. When he finished, he went to Mexico where he acted in theatre with: “Mamãe ama Rock”. After that he acted in a soap opera called “Alacanzar una Estrella”. He sang the music of the soundtrack to “Muñecos de Papel”, and it promoted a lot of show in the same country
In 1991 he recorded his first solo CD “Ricky Martin”. He made a lot (a lot!) of shows around the World. He won the prize “Orquídea de Prata” in Venezuela for his popularity. He paraded in Portela in 1997, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In February 1993, he participated in the “Vinha del Mar” festival in Chile, and won the Prize “Gaviota de Plata” for his great performance. In the same year he launched his second CD: “Me amaras”.
In 1994 he played “Miguel Morez”, an character in the soap opera “General Hospital”. His third CD is “Amedio Vivir” (1995) with the smash hit: “Maria”.
Besides, Ricky participated in special MTV Playa, in Miami. In 1996 he participated of the Les Miserabels" interpreting Marius. In 1998, he sang the official theme of the cup: La cup de La Vida (The Cup of Life). After that he recorded the CD Vuelve. On that year he participated in the sound trails of the films: "A Marcara do Zorro " and " Hercules ". In the year of 1999 Ricky Martin was thrown, in English. This had the participations, Madonna and Meja. He made a lot of success and Ricky it got to affect a certain prejudice that until not very it existed in relation to Latin music.
Already in 2000 with Sound loaded in the stops of great part of the world. We can highlight several music as: She bangs (the main), Saint Tropez, Loaded... The mixture of rhythms continues. We have as example the music " One night man ", that he has Arab influences, to the sound of a English, very hot repertoire  .

Remember his succes was lauched two CDS with the best success songs.In Spanish : "La Historia", and in English "The Best of Ricky Martin".If you dont know any success , this is a bigopportunity.
