We went through the astro mock - pretty shocking.
Many many exam papers were distributed along with mark schemes. Do the papers and check that your answers are worth all the marks on the scheme.

We sat the astro mock.
PHY1 revision will start next time. Bring any particular topic area/past paper questions that have troubled you to guide what we cover.

We looked at exam technique, particularly the wording of individual questions.
Then we looked at astro June 2004 paper + mark scheme.
HW Revise for an astro mock paper next time.

We finished off the astro course by looking at telescopes. Mainly you need to know about the issues surrounding recording images and the advantages of space telescopes.
HW We will sit an Astro paper next Thursday. Revise for it and finish all the "A" assessment questions from the book. Mechs revision begins on this Thursday.
