This website is in support of the ONE.org website. ONE is an incredible organization asking Americans to stand together as a voice of ONE to end poverty and AIDS in our life-time. ONE stresses that by directing only 1% of the US budget towards fight poverty and AIDS we can help some of the poorest people and their countries by: "helping the world's poorest, help themselves." I believe that ALL Americans should stand together as ONE but I also believe that as students, the younger generation, we are part of a generation that will be very vital in this fight. I believe we are one of the most fortunate generations, we have a better idea of our sorroundings and world views, and I believe that together as ONE we can be a large part of this fight. I created this website for several reasons:
- To raise awareness about the message ONE is promoting.
- To act as a place where we could get together to
talk and act on the issues ONE brings attention too.
- A base to get info, cooridinate, and share ideas.
- To bring together our generation so that we, the future
of America, can help ONE in the fight to end poverty and AIDS
everywhere and truly stand as ONEGeneration!
