Family Pics II

This page is for my Grandparents. ~ I was lucky enough to have three sets of Grandparents while growing up (that I remember). ~ And fortunately, I have one Grandma left and love her dearly.


~ Christmas 1998 ~

My brother and his kids, Grandma and Dad. ~ This was the first Christmas we (I and my brother's families) have spent with Grandma. ~ She moved back here in October of '98 after living in California for 50 years. ~ She raised five boys, including a set of twins, and is celebrating her 80th birthday this month. ~ She's in good health (doesn't get around as good as she'd like) and we look forward to spending many more Holidays with her.

Grandpa (the one who taught me how to fish), Mom and I and Grandma. ~ This was taken in front of my Grandparent's house shortly after Mom and I moved to Iowa. ~ They babysat me often, especially summers and Saturdays when Mom had to work, until I got older and she remarried. ~ Grandma passed away in 1988 and Grandpa in 1993.
I love you and I miss you!
